Listed below are some general questions we get asked about our TICKETS &/OR OUR packages.
+ Do I have to book accommodation to get tickets?
No, unlike some companies that make you buy a package to get access to tickets, Live Football Fan (LFF) will happily help you with ticket-only purchases to help make sure you are there to experience the match live. If you do need accommodation however, LFF can assist with competitive rates and properties close by to the stadium(s).
+ Do I have to be Australian to book these tickets?
No, you may purchase the majority of the tickets that LFF sells from any part of the world. In some rare cases, you may need to provide passport details but this will not stop you from purchasing tickets or packages.
+ What information do I need to provide to book?
LFF will need to collect a few details from you in order to invoice you and confirm your booking after payment has been received. You will need to provide first and last names as per passports, your best contact information that you will have access to whilst overeseas (email and mobile), and if you do not book accommodation with LFF, you will need to provide details such as the name & address of your hotel or accommodation and your check in date. In some cases (Serie A in particular), further passport information will be required for security reasons at the match.
+ When do I receive my tickets?
Tickets will generally only be released the day before or the morning of the match, particularly when kick off is 3pm or later. This is to stop scalping of tickets.
+ How do I receive my tickets?
There are three ways that you can receive tickets:
- They will be e-tickets that can be forwarded to your nominated email address
- They will be physical tickets / season ticket holder cardsthat will be delivered to you at your accommodation
- They will be held for you at the ground for game-day collection
+ What happens if I leave home without tickets?
This is completely normal and in fact, happens quite a lot. Most people attend a match as part of a longer holiday/trip and with tickets only becoming available in the day or two leading up to the match, it’s likely that you will depart before you receive the actual tickets.
+ What happens if I cannot find my tickets?
You will be provided with an itinerary before your departure which will include contact information for our Europe-based partners and reference numbers to quote to them. If your hotel concierge cannot locate a delivered ticket for any reason, you should contact the on-ground operators who will be able to help you most efficiently because you won’t have to worry about time differences.
+ What happens if my match gets rescheduled?
Rescheduling of matches can happen throughout the season. This can happen because of clashes with cup competitions or changes for TV scheduling amongst other things. Unfortunately, tickets and packages are generally non-refundable however your ticket is valid for whatever date the match is rescheduled for. LFF always suggests flexibility in travel plans around matches. Do not book a tour or a flight out of the country you are supposed to be watching a match in, a few days either side of the original scheduling of your match.
+ When do I find out where I’m sitting?
In most cases, tickets will be sold to you as a category (ie Long-Side or Hospitality) and you will not know exact sections or seat numbers until you receive the tickets. LFF’s European-based partners will do their best to secure you the best available tickets within your category.
+ What does it mean if my ticket has a name or price printed on it?
Sometimes tickets will have a season ticket holder’s name printed on it. You will not be asked to provide ID when you go through the gates at the stadium so this will not be an issue and can be ignored. Similarly, some tickets may have a price printed on them. Please ignore these prices as this will be the face value of the ticket and may make up a portion of a season ticket’s total price.
